Let's dance! But other dances, to other popular music, with other groups.
Let's learn to share in a different way, to meet in a different way.
That's what this first edition of the Triskell Folk Ball is all about. Two groups from elsewhere, bringing with them their traditions, their dance steps and their instruments. Two groups who will keep us dancing until late, in a warm and friendly atmosphere, with bar and catering on site.
Music that's rooted in its roots and resolutely focused on creation, for a varied, intergenerational and curious audience: come along!

LA CUIVRAILLE
Formed in 2014, La Cuivraille is a group that uniquely blends the sounds of traditional French music with the energies and textures of contemporary music (groove, funk, reggae...). With a skilful blend of violin, vocals, brass section (trumpet, trombone, saxophone), electric bass and percussion, the group offers a modern, lively and accessible sound. The group draws on the dance repertoires of the different regions of France to create a varied, dynamic and unifying ball, alternating group dances, dances for two and chain dances. The format is flexible and inclusive, appealing to both novice and experienced dancers alike.

GALLICA
Three colossuses from the Morvan who carve out their own music. Their repertoire, to dance to and listen to, is essentially drawn from collections made by the old musicians of the Morvan mountains.
Seb Lagrange: chromatic accordion / Quentin Millet: bagpipes / Jean Pascal Pin: hurdy-gurdy
