For traditional camping enthusiasts ! A relaxing campsite at the heart of an area which is a blend of dynamism and tradition. Facilities include : boules area, volleyball pitch, table tennis, picnic area with barbecue, common room with library, table football, pool table, TV and WiFi. July and August : fresh bread, mini-market, food trucks, boules tournament, galoche (Bigouden quoits), pedal car races, seashore discovery at low tide. Also supervised canoeing and paddle-boarding at the municipal water sports centre next door, ideal for discovering the coast, including the Etocs rocks, a favourite haunt of grey seals and many sea birds. Local attractions include the nearby harbour at Kérity with its bars, restaurants, fishmongers and baker’s, Eckmühl lighthouse and the amazing views from the top, the superb rocks (take care!) and the harbour at St-Guénolé to watch fish being landed, not forgetting the beach at Pors-Carn and the Pointe de la Torche, hotspots for surfing and other board sports ! All these attractions can be reached on foot or by bike along the GR34 coastal footpath.
