Pont-l'Abbé has 5 chapels, 2 of which can be visited.
The chapel of the Augustines is part of the women's monastery Les Augustines, created in 1860 to care for the sick according to the rule of Saint Augustine.
The chapel was built to plans by the architect Bigot, and after a fire was rebuilt in 1912.
The chapel houses modern stained glass windows by Paul Riqueur (1952), Hermann organs (1960), paintings (including one in the icon style and one in polychrome wood by Jean Corolleur) and wooden carvings of the Stations of the Cross.
