Built in the style of the Pont-Croix school, the Trinité chapel dates back to the 14th century and was rebuilt in two phases in the 16th and 18th centuries. Until the First World War, the Trinité was a meeting place for embroiderers and tailors, whose numbers increased between 1850 and 1906. The tailors were grouped into guilds, of which Plozévet was one of the main centres in the Bigouden region.
