Situated in an exceptional setting, facing the Bay of Audierne, the chapel of Penhors takes its name from its natural environment: it is built not far from a small pond invaded by marsh plants, hence its name (pen: head and hors: reed). There is also a triumphal arch and a 6.50 m high Calvary. The chapel is the subject of a grand pardon every first weekend in September.
