In Douarnenez, on the tip of Finistère, as the town celebrates the centenary of the 1924 sardine workers' strike, the last canning factories have left the port for the industrial estate. At the Chancerelle factory, Malagasy, Baoulé and Lingala mingle with yawns and Douarnenez accents.
"Demain au boulot" (Tomorrow at work) takes us on a journey with today's sardine workers into the world of contemporary labour, and paints a portrait of a community of women at work.
Organised by the Amicale Laïque de Loctudy
