A native of central Brittany, accordionist Régis Huiban has been spreading his bellows on the world music scene for over 30 years. His compositions, inspired by traditional tunes, recount Breton laments, breathe gavotte, and interweave Armorican blues and the thousand-beat waltz. Performing as a group, duo or solo, his stage experience began at folk dances, then on the floors of festoù-noz, before moving on to jazz and world concerts.
He has produced several albums and today revisits, through artistic encounters, his four main discographic creations: ″Sans-sommeil″ (2005), ″1732″ (2009), ″Le Train Birinik″ (2013) and ″Waiting for tea time″ (2021).
