Messiah is an oratorio for solo choir and orchestra.
We are 55 choristers and will be accompanied by a baroque orchestra.
Messiah is one of the universal sacred works, a luminous, sparkling, popular and accessible work, described as a treasure of humanity by the writer Stefan Zweig.
The concert lasts around 2? hours, with a short interval. The choruses are sung in their entirety, a rare occurrence, and we have chosen to include a narrator to make them easier to understand.
