The legendary band THE STRANGLERS return to Cap Caval to celebrate their 50th anniversary! There's no need to introduce The Stranglers, or at least the survivors: the immortal Jean-Jacques Burnel (bass, vocals) and his partner Baz Warne, guitarist since 2000. Drummer Jim Mac Cauley has only been with the band for ten years, and on keyboards Toby Housham joined in 2021. Whatever the case, the quartet, still led by Jean-Jacques Burnel, are still creating sparks as never before.
The Stranglers still have all the rhythmic drive of their early days, but they've also built up their stage rage over the years. Respect! In Port-Breton, they'll be playing a 24-track setlist that spans their entire career (18 albums) over 1h45 min, covering the songs that have made the 'Men in Black' living legends of British rock. Hits include: Toiler on the Sea (1978), Duchess (1979), Sometimes (1977), Relentless (2006), Nice 'n' Sleazy (978), This Song (2021), La folie (1981), Golden Brown (1981), The Last Men on the Moon (2021), Peaches (1977) And If you should see (2021) Always the Sun (1986), (Get a) Grip (on Yourself) (1977), Walk On By (1978), etc.
