Despite the paucity of sources indicating the construction of this church, many significant elements link it to the Pont-Croix architectural style, probably dating it to the end of the 13th century. It was largely rebuilt in 1791, and the bell tower dates back to 1520. The church still houses a number of statues transferred from the Languidou chapel at the end of the 18th century.
