Built quickly between 1508 and 1509 thanks to Bigouden shipowners, Saint-Nonna church is Gothic in style. Rectangular in shape, it has a flat apse on which rests an ancient ossuary. Opposite, a large unfinished tower features gargoyles.
Carved ships ("carvelles" with high rear castles) can be seen on the façade and in the porch.
The central nave is flanked by ogival arches on the 2 aisles. The chevet is pierced by 3 bays. The stained glass window in the main window shows 16th century remains depicting the Life and Passion of Christ.
Some more recent stained glass windows, from 1863 to 1870, come from the workshops of the Carmelite convent in Le Mans.
The statuary is interesting, dating from the 16th to 18th centuries.
Also worth seeing are the 1875 pulpit, the 15th-century stone baptismal font, the 1614 font near the Saint-Guénolé door, tombstones, a 17th-century Rosary painting, etc.
The architecture of the building is in the flamboyant Gothic style. The church is almost 50m long and 25m wide, with a 10m high tower. There are 4 sculpted boats inside and 14 outside. They show the development of shipbuilding from the end of the 15th century to the middle of the 16th century.
