The 1905 church replaced a parish church dating from the 13th and 14th centuries. The funds for the construction of the new church came from a substantial donation from the owner of the manor of Lestrediagat, Count Le Gouvello de la Porte. The building is in the neo-Romanesque and neo-Gothic styles. It features an imitation marble high altar and extensive polychrome wooden statuary.
