Born in Brittany, Arnaud Laly is a contemporary artist and designer with a singular background, drawing on experience in graphic design, architecture and the applied arts.

After training as an artist in Rennes, he moved to Paris, where he became artistic director of a major global design agency. This path quickly led him to stand on his own two feet: his paintings were seductive and his world intriguing. Galleries in France and abroad soon began exhibiting his work.

Now based in Plouhinec, in the south of Finistère, Arnaud Laly cultivates a structured, vibrant art.

His signature is the line. Strong and graphic, it runs through his canvases like a backbone. His works, influenced by Art Deco, Cubism and the Memphis movement, combine geometry, bold colours and bold flat tints.

Inspired by his walks, his travels and the details of everyday life, he creates sensitive, evocative works that combine formal rigour with intuitive freedom.

His paintings are like visual labyrinths: you think you see one shape, then another pops up. Arnaud Laly doesn't give out keys - he opens doors. Between apparent simplicity and inner complexity, his art invites exploration. It's an ode to the multiple view, to shifting perception, to a boundless imagination.
