"Originally from the north of France, I have lived in Brittany since 1974. I started painting in the 1980s with figurative oil and acrylic on canvas.
I took evening classes at the Quimper School of Fine Arts for 3 years. I'm currently working on recycled zinc gutters. I clean them and work on them to reveal the marks left by the rain, wind and sun over the years.
It was during a roof renovation that I got the idea of transforming these old gutters into works of art. My paintings, half figurative, half abstract, let visitors wander through their imaginations. My works evoke seascapes, urban landscapes and scenes from everyday life.
