Take a virtual trip aboard the reconstructed trawler “Bara Breizh” for the duration of a tide and discover the daily life of Bigouden fishermen. As you wander around the different areas of the boat, you’ll meet the members of the Bara Breizh crew. The tour ends with the film “Histoire d’une marée”, which immerses you in the daily life and work of the sailors. It’s a unique, memorable and highly rewarding experience!

Then take an immersive tour of the coastal fish auction from 4pm:
Witness the auction of fritillating langoustines and fish just unloaded from the boats. Our guides will explain how the auction works and tell you a few anecdotes about the fish and shellfish.

Outside auction hours, explore what goes on behind the scenes! Unlike the coastal fish market, there are no direct sales here. Step into the shoes of the buyers and discover with your family the fascinating stories behind the fish from our coasts and the workings of the fish auction. Admission to Haliotika is included in the package.

– L’après-midi en Folie at 2pm:
Combine the senses and discover the world of fishing by joining us for a lovely afternoon before the boats arrive! Guided tour of Haliotika + Scampi tasting + Guided tour of the coastal fish market to see the sale of freshly landed fish and shellfish.

– L’Hannexe and its harbour-view terrace, a tasting area offering mainly Bigouden and Breton flavours: langoustine bar and other delicacies.
– At l’Hatelier, all year round, alone or with a local chef.
– Corporate hospitality: at l’Hatelier, we can welcome companies wishing to bring their teams together for a meeting or day-long seminar. We have a room l’Abri du marin for 20 people and a terrace with a view of the Pointe de Men Meur. Working groups can also meet in an auditorium (capacity 50 people) located within the Discovery Centre.
