This Neolithic megalith (3000 BC) is 8.50 m high and stands in a pond bordered by the Lehan dunes. Listed as a Historic Monument since 6 March 1923, it bears witness to changes in sea level, having been erected on the dry banks of a small stream and now standing in the middle of a pond. The Etang de Lehan is home to a wealth of birdlife (grey herons), as well as a bird observatory and an educational trail.
