Douarnenez - Le Rosmeur. Un port qui tourne le dos à sa ville" has just been published. It raises the more general question of access to fishing ports in Sud-Finistère. Some are freely accessible (Poulgoazec-Audierne, Loctudy, etc.), while others are only partially accessible (Concarneau, Le Guilvinec, etc.). Signs here and there indicate that access is reserved for "users" only (Concarneau-Le Moros, Douarnenez-Le Rosmeur), but all this remains formal and highly debatable...
This is the story of a port and the threat of its closure to the public. It's the story of residents who are attached to their port and ready to mobilise to
to defend access to it. It's the work of three sociologists who spent more than a year walking around the port to get a closer look. They learned more than they thought they would, and now they want to share that knowledge. Come and meet them and have a chat.
