Space for furnished lettings

Do you have a furnished property to let, or would you like to rent it out? Then this is the place for you!

Declaring your furnished rental

If you wish to rent out your property on a seasonal basis, it is compulsory to make a declaration at the town hall (article L. 324-1-1 of the Tourism Code – document no. 14004 04), as well as registering with the court registry to obtain a SIRET number.

Register your tourist accommodation online and you will automatically generate a CERFA form that will be sent directly to the relevant town hall.

Classifying your furnished rental

Once the rental has been declared to the town hall, the owner may, if they wish, apply to have their furnished accommodation classified. This is a voluntary procedure that is not compulsory, but it is strongly recommended, as the classification guarantees standards of comfort and equipment based on national criteria, thereby reassuring customers.

The classification comprises 5 categories ranging from 1 to 5 stars and is valid for 5 years, at the end of which time the owner must apply for a new classification if he wants his accommodation to continue to be classified.

If you are a partner of the Tourist Office and would like support in obtaining a classification for your accommodation, please contact us!
