Nature walks

Paths and trails in the countryside and woods offer a tête-à-tête with nature far from the busier coastal path. With only the sound of birdsong in the background, you’ll find yourself sheltered from the prevailing winds and often on 100% pedestrian paths. Please note that inland, the signs and markers are yellow.

The Bigouden countryside offers a rare luxury: peace and quiet! The footpaths are dotted with fountains, wash-houses and chapels. It’s also an opportunity to discover the many megaliths in Pays Bigouden.

Signposted walks in the woods

A walk in the woods reconnects us with childhood memories and every season brings a new sensory experience. A number of large-scale green lungs have been preserved in Pays Bigouden: the Roscouré wood in Combrit Sainte-Marine, the Saint-Ronan wood in Plozévet and the Rosquerno wood in Pont-l’Abbé.
