Description
Nicoll Uzan (vocals and lyrics) and Maurice Delaistier (guitar and lyrics) present a show combining poetry and music entitled “Songs of Love, Exile and Rebellion”. Directed by Lionel Parlier, the show combines the wit of Alphonse Allais, the verbal flights of fancy of Michaux, the fury of Lorca and Neruda, the Yiddish texts of Itzik Manguer, the wanderings of Saint-John Perse, the madness of Artaud and others, with the music of Mozart, Granados, Ravel, Britten, Ginastera and Aperghis. This original production demonstrates, if proof were needed, just how universal poetry and music are.
