The Babil theatre company and the Trobairitz ensemble invite you on a musical and poetic journey through the female experience, bridging East and West, past and present.
From Algeria to Italy, via Spain and medieval France, discover the voices of women from days gone by – their thoughts, their wounds, their desires and their strengths. “Rivages méditerranéens OP. II” is a performance woven from spoken poetry, Sephardic songs, romanceros and deeply moving texts… set to original compositions by Ingrid Blasco, and featuring, as always, mezzo-soprano Alice Khayati, percussionist Mathias Mantello and violist Nathalie Le Gaouyat.
