Dance / A dance-heavy talk With humour, energy and self-deprecating wit, this show traces the history of hip-hop, from its origins in the Bronx to today’s French dance scenes. Somewhere between dance and theatre, it blends personal stories, archive footage, anecdotes and spectacular demonstrations. Performed by five dancers, this vibrant and generous production celebrates a culture that is at once festive, socially engaged and deeply human, whilst offering a sensitive insight into its evolution and its many influences.
