Description
After retiring, Danielle Grass took up painting with a palette knife, a technique she had been experimenting with for around six years. Upon her arrival in Guilvinec in 2024, she decided to take up lessons again. Then, in 2025, quite by chance, she tried her hand at watercolour and discovered a technique that was, in the end, well within her reach.
She will be exhibiting a series of watercolours ranging from portraits to landscapes.
Embroidery by Dominique HOEL. Embroidery and lace are closely linked in Brittany, as many pieces combine the two crafts, and certain types of embroidery resemble lace.
Dominique Hoël reinvents this art of thread in her organdy embroideries, presented as delicate paintings. Often inspired by traditional headdresses, the use of dyed threads for colouring lends them a certain modernity.
Event organised by TREFFIAG'ARTS.
