Description
Patrick Marziale, painter of the sea.
Recent paintings and inks.
I was born in Paris in 1948 and moved to Douarnenez in 1968. After
infidelities to the Bay, due to my professional tour of France, I returned
returned to the port of Tréboul in 1979, where I have lived and worked ever since.

and in particular the vast site of the Bay of Douarnenez, its shores and cliffs
and cliffs that have not yet been denatured, I have developed my series of
variations on the interplay of water and light, skies and rocks, rollers and
skies and rocks, rollers and breakers, chasms and peaks, the horses of Brittany
of Brittany and even as far as the coast of Patagonia....My works in
in ink or acrylic are the fruit of my observations during my wanderings
on land and at sea, from quays to capes...
A bit of a Jack-of-all-trades, I have developed graphic activities
illustration, comic strips and posters, which have sometimes earned me a certain notoriety.
some notoriety. But it was my uninterrupted pictorial work that took over
which has taken centre stage in a number of exhibitions, often themed.
