This week, the Coop welcomes painter Françoise Botrel-Rey. "The colours and emotions in my paintings are not the result of any initial thought. It's a force that pushes me in this direction, and in a way, the canvas escapes my understanding. Often it's my figures that guide me, beings with evanescent forms that pass by, fleeting visions of ethereal beings from nowhere... They express the mystery of Life. My colours bring them back into our everyday lives. That's what drives me when I'm at my easel. Françoise Botrel-Rey.
