Josette Gouello works mainly in oils, on canvas or canvas paper. Inspired by the seaside, the sea and the islands, she says she paints from the Glénan to the Île-Tudy, via the Lofoten (Norway). She particularly likes to paint the Glénan Islands in winter, an archipelago she knows by heart and which she sublimates with an infinite range of blues.
