Description
A unique venue for an equally unique exhibition.
Paul Bloas hangs his paintings in the Fort de la Pointe de Sainte-Marine, a former military building.
For more than 40 years, this painter from Brest has been casting his steely gaze on the complexity of the human soul.
"I go where no one goes". From the port of Brest to the Chilean desert of Atacama, Paul Bloas surveys abandoned places, meeting people who are isolated, forgotten and exhausted.
His work tells their stories, our stories.
On 13 July, he will be teaming up with acclaimed guitarist Serge Tessot-Gay. Through "Ligne de Front", they will tell the story of human struggles, one with a paintbrush, the other with a guitar.
From 6.30pm in front of the Fort.
