Description
The garden of possibilities, paintings by Anna Radecka
_______________
The garden of possibilities
My starting point is a vital need: to rediscover a state of peace, joy and fragile trust in reality, by learning to see the beauty in what is already there.
Nature has become an anchor, through simple gestures like walking, touching the earth and cultivating.
This garden is not a place, but a mental and sensitive space, in constant transformation, where forms appear and disappear in contact with living things.
Painting becomes a territory of experimentation. The colours act as seeds, the canvas as a welcoming surface. Nothing is fixed.
In my paintings, layers mingle with floral elements - daisies, roses - evoking my grandmother's garden and an intimate relationship with time, care and living things.
I work in oil paint and silkscreen, using superimpositions, erasures and coverings, in a process where the image is constructed in the space of time.
where the image is built on uncertainty.
Organic forms emerge, somewhere between vegetal and marine resonances, with layers of memory running through them,
female figures and fragments of childhood.
This garden becomes a space of passage between memory and perception, mastery and abandonment,
where the image is constantly emerging.
