On Saturday 25 July, Loctudy will be rocking to the beat of rock music with the return of the ROCK IN LOC Revival Festival! From 2 pm, the public is invited to enjoy a fantastic, family-friendly day of celebrations – completely free of charge – combining music, entertainment, exhibitions and exceptional concerts. Throughout the afternoon, DJ ROADKING and DJ BOPPIN’ IMANOL will be setting the mood, playing the greatest classics of rock, rockabilly and pop-rock to get the crowd going ahead of the evening’s concerts. Visitors will also be able to browse the vintage market and the vinyl fair, on the hunt for rare records, retro items and vintage treasures. Car enthusiasts won’t be left out, with an exhibition of classic American cars and Harley-Davidsons – true icons of rock culture. To treat the audience to an exceptional evening, the FAR, the event’s organiser, has pulled out all the stops in selecting the line-up, bringing together three leading tribute bands from across France: At 6.30 pm: BOWIE TO BOWIE will kick off the evening with a vibrant tribute to David Bowie, who passed away ten years ago. The band revisits the British artist’s essential tracks, from ‘Space Oddity’ to ‘Blackstar’, retracing more than fifty years of a career that left its mark on the history of rock and pop culture. The audience will then continue this musical journey with COLDPLAYED, one of Europe’s finest tribute bands dedicated to Coldplay. Backed by meticulous stage design and spectacular visual effects, the band recreates all the emotion and energy of the famous British quartet’s concerts. Iconic tracks such as ‘Yellow’, ‘Clocks’, ‘Viva La Vida’ and ‘A Sky Full of Stars’ promise a unifying and unforgettable experience. To round off this great rock festival, SCORPIANS will bring the greatest hits of the legendary German band Scorpions back to life. With powerful riffs, memorable solos and iconic ballads, this show will transport the audience back to the world of 1980s hard rock. More than just a concert, SCORPIANS offers a true immersion in an era that has left its mark on several generations of fans.
