Description

This year's festival guest is Martinique! Saturday : - 6.30pm: lecture by Max Relouzat "Martinique, the weight of history in today's climate challenges". Sunday: - 10.30 am: Storytelling for children aged 5 and over. Valer'Egouy (storyteller) and Suzel Barbaroux (dancer) present a lively, interactive show to make you laugh, sing and even dance. An invitation to travel through Creole culture! The show will be followed by a music/dance workshop. - 2.30pm: lectures and round table. Pascal Saffache, Martinique scientist specialising in coastal risks. Pierre Gallet de Saint Aurin, active member of the ASSAUPAMAR association. Marcellin Nadeau, MP for the 2nd constituency of Martinique. - 6pm to 7pm: "Island Colours" show for the general public with Vale'Egouy. - 7pm to 8.30pm: Martinique aperitif and dinner in the school courtyard (menu €12). - 8.30pm to 11pm: West Indian dance hosted by Dédé Saint-Prix (free from €5). Reservations required for the aperitif and the concert on ticketweb or at the Maison de la Pointe. Event organised by the Effet Mer association.
