As transatlantic heirs to the Carter Family, The Sugar Family champion American folk music with enthusiasm and freshness. Drawing inspiration from the very roots of gospel right through to the banks of the Ohio, their old-time ballads are by turns spellbinding and exhilarating! Thanks to their original compositions and traditional repertoire, the music performed by these five musicians touches the heart and lifts the spirits. Their stories transport the audience, brought to life by poetic harmonies and powerful tones that stand out individually before coming together around haunting melodies.
