Description
Launched in 2020 by all those involved in cycling, together with the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Ministry for Sport, "Mai à vélo" is a nationwide event to promote cycling. The aim is to ensure that this mode of transport is used and adopted throughout France all year round.
Discover the Bigouden heritage by bike
Together with the tourist office, the CCPBS's mobility and tourism departments have created cycle routes to help you discover at your own pace the small heritage sites of the Bigouden region, including chapels, menhirs, sailor shelters and the port.

Departure from the Maison des Associations in Pont-l'Abbé.
Trace part of the history of the Bigouden region.
A first stop is planned near Treffiagat, then at Le Guilvinec station. Arrive at Saint-Guénolé for lunch, then return by the same route. With the participation of Serge Duigou, historian.
Helmets recommended, compulsory for under-12s.
Bring a picnic, water and repair kit.
