Around twenty ceramicists are coming together to showcase their creations.
Bas Van Zuijlen, a ceramist based in Hent Kerleusquenet, is organising this event in collaboration with the Mad in Dz association, artists and creators from Cornouaille.
With a focus on local production, Bas has invited ceramists from the Pays Bigouden and various parts of Brittany.
About L’Atelier L’Esprit Créateur
Bas van Zuijlen, a ceramist for 25 years, founded the L’Esprit Créateur workshop in 2016 in Plobannalec-Lesconil. He creates functional objects with a contemporary design. Since 2022, he has been experimenting with creating glazes using local materials, such as clay, ash, sand or crushed shells. Deeply concerned about current environmental issues, he is sourcing his raw materials locally to become more self-sufficient.
