The Maracana playground is easy to get to, with a car park and a dune area sheltered by tall pine trees. At the top of the dune, there is a playground for children aged 2 to 8, complete with slide, spring swing and turnstile. For teenagers, a play area has been set up on the dune with a football pitch and basketball posts. Picnic tables.
