Description

Penhors Beach, in the heart of Audierne Bay, is a very popular spot for surfing and sand yachting enthusiasts. It is also the ideal place to enjoy a swim and relax with family or friends. It has been awarded the Blue Flag. Come evening, the spectacle of the sunset over the ocean is magnificent: you can admire it whilst sipping a drink or savouring a local dish at one of the café or restaurant terraces lining the seafront. A footpath along the GR34 allows you to stroll safely along the beach and past the quaint little harbour of Penhors. Access for people with reduced mobility: access ramps to the beach and Tiralo available Lifeguard-supervised beach: from 1 July to 31 August by 2 CRS officers and 1 SNSM lifeguard. Dogs welcome On Penhors beach in Pouldreuzic, dogs are permitted subject to certain conditions from 1 June to 30 September: they are only allowed between 8 pm and 10 am and must be kept on a lead at all times. This rule applies to the area stretching from Penhors harbour to the Penn ar Bed restaurant. For the rest of the year, dogs are allowed on the beach all day provided they are kept on a lead. NB: Dogs are not permitted on Gourined beach
