Alexandre Lamoureux
Description
The shelter was founded in 1900 by Jacques de Thézac, who wanted to give idle fishermen something to do during the winter, to keep them away from the cabarets. The shelter offered fishermen reading and games, and young people gymnastics. It developed navigation and radio courses, then offered care for the injured, visits to infants, etc. It closed in 1985 and was converted into a media library in 2002.
