Set in an exceptional location, overlooking Audierne Bay, the Penhors Chapel takes its name from its natural surroundings: it stands not far from a small pond overgrown with marsh plants, hence its name (pen: head and hors: reed). Don’t miss its triumphal arch and its 6.50-metre-high calvary. The chapel is the venue for a major pilgrimage every first weekend in September.
