Chappelle Saint-Joseph - Peumerit Situated in a green enclosure, the chapel dedicated to Saint Joseph and Saint Anne was founded in 1645 by the Lords of Rubien, then sold as national property in 1795 to Maître Le Hars, notary, who had his name engraved on the façade.
During the pre-revolutionary period, clandestine services were held here. The building was reopened to worship in the 19th century.
Today, the enclosure is home to a delightful local farmers’ market, a meeting place for lovers of local gastronomy, particularly cheese, milk, bread, vegetables and honey. From February to November.
Eglise Saint-Annouarn - Peumerit The church of Saint-Annouarnand its statue of Saint Yves are thought to have been built between the 12th and 16th centuries, and restored in 1741. The choir, the oldest part of which dates from the 14th century, contains a number of features characteristic of the Pont-Croix architectural style.
Parc animalier de la Pommeraie - Peumerit The Pommeraie farm park offers visitors a relaxing stroll through woodland and flowers, in close contact with farm animals.

Saint-Joseph Chapel - PeumeritIf there’s one particularly pleasant and convivial moment in the local life of this Bigouden village, it’s certainly the farmers’ market (around 4 stallholders) held on Friday evenings from 4pm to 6.30pm.
Producers of cheese, milk, bread, vegetables and honey gather in the chapel enclosure from February to November.
It’s a great oportunity to stock up on good produce, but also to mingle with the regulars who come every week to share this convivial moment in a pleasant setting.
The Plonéour-Lanvern Tourist Office is 7 km away (open in July and August) and is located at Place Charles de Gaulle in Plonéour-Lanvern.
The Tourist Office in Plozévet, 14 km from Peumerit, is open all year round and is located at 13 Rue du Centre, Plozévet.
Every Friday from 4.30pm to 7pm, the Saint-Joseph market takes place in the grounds of the Saint-Joseph chapel (around 4 stallholders).
