    I particularly enjoy sculpting the face, for me the most expressive part of the human being, sometimes playing on the contrasts of raw clay and a patinated or enameled decoration."

    Maïté LE Reun is a local artist well-known for her passion for the Bigouden coast and the Glénan Islands.
    "I'm in love with my surroundings; I love painting beaches, lighthouses, rocks, and the sea in all its forms." Self-taught, I use acrylics primarily with a knife.
