Expo peinture - Laetitia Taupin

Laetitia Taupin has been a painter for 23 years. Her first personal paintings describe her dreamlike and symbolic world: "My painting reflected my inner life; now, by structuring it with cinema, I discover life, and thought joins matter."

Acrylic and collages constitute the bulk of the material in her paintings. The solid areas give way to patchworks of articulated figures and characters, layered, and blended into one another to create an overall scene. However, painting is only the means to highlight the intellectual research and projection that are the true focus of these works.
