I address them to all those I have hurt, neglected, or not paid enough attention to, putting my own pleasure and desires first.

The author then talks about his apologies to politics, to life, and to the sun.
‘This just goes to show that there are endless reasons to apologise. Once you start apologising, you can't stop.’
