The Chevalier de Freminville, in his 1835 work "Antiquités du Finistère," claims that the Knights Templar were behind this construction. However, no documents confirm this hypothesis.

The 15th-century porch displays a harmony of horizontal and vertical lines and, with its canopies, two pilasters, and pinnacles, testifies to the Gothic style.

The entire church is reinforced by buttresses. The bell tower disappeared in 1808. Only one stair turret remains. The nave has five bays and a flat chevet. Two columns with engaged colonnettes remain from an earlier building.
