The Chapel of Joy is located directly on the seafront, between St. Pierre and St. Guénolé. A sentinel watching over the sea, it is dedicated to the Virgin. Sailors came to thank her for saving them from storms. During the pardon ceremony, which takes place on August 15th, they paraded bareheaded and barefoot.

This building dates from the late 15th century.
The bell tower is on a blind gable, with only three loopholes letting in a little light. The short spire is flanked by two asymmetrical turrets, one octagonal and the other cylindrical.
Two arched entrances with finials and crockets. The one on the east side is blocked. A boat can be seen above the bay, between the doors. The buttresses are imposing because the ground is unstable.
It has a rectangular plan with a long, narrow lean-to. The roof is made of oak, shaped like an upturned boat hull. The altarpiece, executed by Jean Le Bosser, dates from 1756. Also notable are ex-votos hanging from the crossbeams, in thanksgiving to the Virgin.
The roof was completely renovated in 1998. The building was listed on December 7, 1916.
The Calvary dates from 1588 and was restored in the 18th and 20th centuries.
